We at Workforce Extensions are proud to be supporting Chief Group in seeking to appoint an experienced Project Manager/Senior Project Engineer to join their team.
Typical responsibilities will include;
- Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Lead and manage project teams, including contractors and external consultants
- End to end management of supplier/contractor documentation
- Assist with preparation of tenders and quotations from start to finish
- Provide support and guidance to team members
- Promptly respond to client and stakeholder queries
- Ensuring a safe work practice in line with company policies and procedures
- Work individually and in a team environment
- Contribute to client negotiations
- Provide progress reports
- Research environmental considerations
About you
To be considered for this position we are seeking applications from candidates who possess the following experience, skills, attributes and qualifications;
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering/civil construction
- Previous experience working on civil projects in either Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer roles
- Exceptional prioritisation and organisational skills, including working to strict deadlines
- Strong HSE knowledge
- High levels of attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, with a proven ability to work manage own workloads
- Strong administrative skills
- Current drivers' licence
