The Opportunity:
As a direct report to the General Counsel, we are seeking a talented and motivated Corporate Counsel to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with business stakeholders, providing strategic legal support and ensuring compliance across the organization.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to maximise commercial outcomes and minimise legal risk.
- Legal review of marketing materials and customer collateral.
- Assist with managing litigation and dispute resolution.
- Advise on compliance with government regulations.
- Analyze legal issues and provide guidance on existing legal documents.
- Conduct legal research to support informed decision-making.
- Partner with paralegals to maintain the contracts database and supervise administrative support (as needed).

We're looking for someone who:
- Minimum 3 years' post admission experience as a solicitor or associate in private practice or in a similar Corporate Counsel position
- Proven ability to draft contracts, provide practical legal advice, and conduct complex legal research.
- Can navigate and advise within a complex regulatory environment.
- Builds strong working relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Thrives in ambiguity, developing innovative solutions with sound judgment.
- Possesses excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Manages time effectively and meets deadlines consistently.
- Exhibits strong communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) with a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
