The Opportunity:
As a direct report to the General Counsel, we are seeking a talented and motivated Corporate Counsel to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with business stakeholders, providing strategic legal support and ensuring compliance across the organization.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to maximise commercial outcomes and minimise legal risk.
  • Legal review of marketing materials and customer collateral.
  • Assist with managing litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Advise on compliance with government regulations.
  • Analyze legal issues and provide guidance on existing legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research to support informed decision-making.
  • Partner with paralegals to maintain the contracts database and supervise administrative support (as needed).

We're looking for someone who:
  • Minimum 3 years' post admission experience as a solicitor or associate in private practice or in a similar Corporate Counsel position
  • Proven ability to draft contracts, provide practical legal advice, and conduct complex legal research.
  • Can navigate and advise within a complex regulatory environment.
  • Builds strong working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Thrives in ambiguity, developing innovative solutions with sound judgment.
  • Possesses excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Manages time effectively and meets deadlines consistently.
  • Exhibits strong communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) with a keen eye for detail.
  • Demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
