CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (Part Time)

Organisation Overview


Advocacy for Disability Access and Inclusion (ADAI) provides individual and family advocacy services to people with disability living in South Australia.

ADAI is committed to supporting and enabling people to make independent, informed decisions to access and participate in their community.

By advocating for the person or/and their family and working together with professionals as true partners, ADAI assist clients to achieve better education, service provision and employment opportunities.


Role Overview


Reporting to and working closely with the Board, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for the overall leadership and management of ADAI and enabling the achievement of its objectives.

ADAI works within the National Disability Advocacy Programme (NDAP), and NDIS Appeals, and supports people with disability to participate in the Disability Royal Commission (DRC).

Management responsibilities include making effective and efficient use of the organisation's human, financial and physical resources, which results in best practice business management, financial and human resource policies, practices and procedures.

This role is offered on a part time basis of 3 days per week minimum.
